Zorn dinner in 19th century style

Dine in the style of the artist couple Anders and Emma Zorn. The dinner is inspired by the 19th century and offers an experience out of the ordinary. Reservations require a minimum of four people.

This dinner gathering is inspired by 19th-century cuisine, featuring recipes from the Zorn House kitchen. The event takes place in our room called The Artist — the very same space where Anders and Emma Zorn hosted visitors such as Karin and Carl Larsson, Selma Lagerlöf, Prince Eugen, August Strindberg, Erik Axel Karlfeldt, Albert Engström, Bruno Liljefors, and many others who frequently came to Mora. Feel the presence of history as you dine, enriched with stories from the past brought to life in these very rooms, dating back to 1830. What´s included? Zorn menu 3 courses Starter Vichyssoise with seared onion, root vegetable chips, and cultured cream Main Course: Dala-gris - free range pig from Dalarna, Apple compote, root vegetables and gravy Dessert Pear cake with lingonberry cream, cloudberry meringue, and fresh berries marinated in cognac Beverages enjoyed and recommended: a sparkling Crémant, a glass of robust Bordeaux wine, and a sweet dessert wine.
