The Taste Experience for the food junkie -Tastes of Skäve

In the food hall at Skedvi Bröd, there is a fantastic selection of small-scale, locally produced delicacies. Visitors are taken on a taste journey through the village of Stora Skedvi and its surrounding areas, right on-site in the food hall at Skedvi Bröd. The fine beef and pork are refined into exquisite charcuterie products, such as ham and sausages, in the smokehouse located close by. From the dairy in the factory and other nearby dairies comes a wonderful selection of cheeses. This is served on a tray with other treats, such as world champion mustard and marmalade – and of course, knäckebröd Skedvi Bröd baked in wood-fired ovens in the bakery next door.

The visitor is given a guided introduction to Skedvi Bröd and the various products served In the food hall, there is a wide range of products available for purchase, in addition to those served on the guided tour. Fresh meat, beverages, oils, chocolate, sweets and more – and not least, knäckebröd baked in woodfired ovens in the bakery, which itself is a great and unforgettable experience (baking days usually Wednesday-Friday). We also highly recommend enchancing your visit with a lunch or dinner in the rustic yet elegant restaurant adjacent to the food hall and the bakery. For adults it is also possible to add full-flavour aquavit tasting, made of the leftovers from the Knäckebröd.
