Kajaktiv - Family paddle adventure 1 day

Take a full day and enjoy the best of Dala-Floda and take your choice of kayak, canoe, or paddleboard for a memorable self-guided trip to a lovely sandy beach for a picnic lunch, before heading back at your leisure. With the final leg down a meandering stream full of wildlife to be collected at the Old church next to the wooden swing bridge.

We meet at our paddle center, then choose your choice of open canoe, kayak or a paddle board before we then head to Lake Flosjön. After some basic instructions, you embark on your own mini adventure with a map showing the way. We will recommend the best spot to picnic and swim depending on the weather, then if you choose you can paddle back through the stream with potential wildlife such as beavers and deer before entering into Västerdalälven, finishing in the quaint old village of Dala-Floda. Alternatively you can spend more time swimming and be collected from the same point you leave from. Your ticket includes, choice of an open canoe for two or one person, or a kayak, one or two persons, or a stable quality stand up paddle board including paddles, and lifejackets. We transport you to the start and collect you at the end, and give basic instructions and directions to see you on the way using a map to find the way. We will pack a picnic lunch and some fika, plus some type of light snack to have while waiting for us to collect you. (We provide a waterproof phone case so you can call us when ready and for safety). You need no prior paddling skills for this trip. However it is important to know, all participants must be able to swim, and you do need to bring some footwear that can be wet. Do bring a towel and swimming costume.
