The Evertsberg Heritage Association held its first meeting in 1971. The immediate reason for forming the association was the desire to preserve an old cottage in Mångsbodarna. The association successfully saved the cottage, and in 1974, the construction of the heritage farm began with buildings from the shielings and villages around Evertsberg.
The collection includes around 100 objects related to the old agrarian society. The collection of objects is gradually supplemented. The heritage farm is used, among other things, on Evertsberg Day during the local heritage week. On this day, thin bread is baked in the large baking oven, the village's artisans sell crafts, and the blacksmith works in the farm's forge.
