Welcome to Särna

In the valley embraced by Fulufjället, Städjan-Nipfjället and Vedungsfjället you will find Särna. During the summer and autumn, the days are filled with hiking trips and explorations, to Njupeskär – one of Sweden's highest waterfalls. One of the most fast-paced weeks in the village is Särna party week with activities in abundance such as snowmobile cross, market and running competitions. In winter, you usually take the snowmobile out on the white expanses that stretch from Älvdalen up towards Särna and on to Idre, Gördalen or Sälen.
