The start takes place in the world's largest skiing competition. A strange silence occurs while the scrapping of 15,000 pairs of skis fills the air.
Vasaloppet is the world's oldest, longest and biggest race. 90 km of scenic experience as well as a male test and perhaps one of the biggest challenges you can take. There is no doubt that Vasaloppet is part of the Swedish people's souls. The controls, and the villages, have become concepts that almost every Swedish knows. Those who do not follow the contest in place, together with 1.8 million other people, can scrunch in front of the TV and follow the elite who competes for the great honor to be this year's Vasalopp winner.
