Welcome to Idre
Idre is a village in the north of Dalarna that will offer mountain adventures all year round. On your way to Idre you will see Städjans characteristic silhouette in the distance, depending on the season the mountain will be embedded in winter white snow, summer greenery or the splendour of autumn colours. You will find hiking opportunities in the summer and during winter its all about skiing. You might also meet some of the Sami people, Sweden’s native population. Idre is after all the southernmost Sami village in Sweden.
