Renbiten farm shop and café

A traditional in Idre, the southernmost village of Swedish Sapmì. The shop sells exclusive Sami arts and crafts, great gifts, home-produced reindeer meat. The most important ingredients in Sami cooking are reindeer, moose, mushrooms and berries, all of which you can find in the shop, mostly home produce.

Enjoy a cup of Sami coffee in the café, with a piece of dried reindeer meat in the cup, and a host of other delicacies. A simple Sami lunch is served daily, often reindeer soup with home-made bread. The Andersson family, one of four Sami families in Idre Sameby, run the Renbiten enterprise, combining reindeer tending with their products, shop and café - and offering a range of Sami experiences and guided tours with their tame reindeer.
