Restaurant Elgen

Restaurant Elgen at Olarsgården Hotel in Sälen has been welcoming guests since 1946. The menus are inspired by the ingredients of the Sälen mountains and Swedish tradition.

Every Monday the restaurant serve a traditional Swedish dish called "plank steak" (beef on a plank) and from Tuesday to Sunday you can enjoy the à la carte-menu. During the summer, a delicious barbeque buffet is served in the garden. In December you can enjoy a traditional Christmas feast. In addition to dinner the restaurant also serve breakfast and lunch. Waffles & raggmunk (Another traditional Swedish dish consisting of potato pancake that is often served with lingonberries) are available anytime from 10:00 AM until late.
