Vasalaven

Silverringen - Bispbergs gruva

At Bispberg's mine you can see one of Sweden's best-preserved iron mining environments. Mining was already going on in the area during the Middle Ages, but it was not until Gustav Vasa became king that the industry increased in importance. Above ground sits the magnificent Vasalaven from 1889.
