Mikeltjärn

At Mickeltjärn there is a slogbod (a small wind shelter) with a fireplace and an overnight cabin.

The overnight cabin is free to use but make sure it is still in good condition when you leave. Here you can fish trout, perch, pike and roach. Don't forget to buy a fishing license for Älvdalen FVO and check current fishing regulations. Just before Mickeltjärn a cold spring where the water bubbles regardless of the season can be found. If you want to use the windshelter or the cottage, keep this in mind: - Bring your own firewood if you intend to cook - Make sure the fire is properly lit before leaving the site - Bring your junk home and leave the place in good condition
