Källviken is on the eastern side of Falun, towards Borlänge and is a popular local skiing area during the winter season. The hill is also an excellent biking slope if you are looking for a challenge.

The cycling in Källviken is fantastically exciting and is best suited for MTB bikes with a little more stroke length. Among the various downhill trails you will find everything from flowy machine-built trails to naturally challenging trails in cool terrain. If you want to tie it all together, there is "Källviken Svarta", an eight-kilometre demanding MTB trail where the reward after conquering the mountain a number of times is top-class downhill with dosed curves and various optional, technical parts.
