Järna fishing area

Västerdalälven rapids along with over four hundred lakes, ponds and rivers offer a variety of fishing. Perch, pike, grayling, rainbow and brown trout. This is where most fish species for you to right bait. There are also great spots for handicap fishing.

Great Lake: Northern pike, perch, trout and large adult whitefish. Snöådammen: Put'n take fishing with introduced rainbow trout. Saxen: Pike, perch and big trout. Västerdalälven: Pike, perch, burbot, grayling and trout. Fishing licenses are sold in shops in Vansbro and Dala-Järna.
