The trail begins at the summer farm Skallskog and leads through overgrown pastures and forest to the abandoned summer farm Brändskog. It's possible to walk the path in either direction and it can be shortened to 4 km by taking a shortcut at Brändskog.

Description: During the summer, the cows freely wander around the area, so you might see them during the hike.
Around the abandoned summer farm Brändskog, there are remnants of the farm life that can be seen if you are observant.
There can also be damp areas in some parts of the path.

Drive from Leksand towards Dala-Järna about 17 km. Pass the exit towards Dala-Floda and slowly down, after about 100 meters turn right to Skallskog, parking to the left.
