The B&B and hostel are located in the rectory, which in turn is located next to Svabensverks Herrgård (Svabensverks Manor) in the village Svabensverk. This is 6 miles north of Falun and 4 miles south of Edsbyn/Alfta along route 50. Svabensverks village is set beautifully between the lakes Amungen och Hämmen, where guests can go swimming or fishing. The river Bruksån flows next to the manor, and here guests can see the beaver if they are lucky.

Take a walk in the forrest around the manor, here you can pick berries and mushrooms. Animals such as elk, fox, bear, wolf, wolverine and lynx have been spotted in the forrest as well. During winter you can go ice-skating on the lake or cross-country skiing in the village. Why not try alpine skiing in Edsbyn, Bollnäs, Järvsö, Rättvik, Falun, Bjursås or Borlänge, all located within a 10 miles radius.

Open all year round.
