Welcome to Grövelsjön

Grövelsjön is Dalarna's northernmost mountain world. Here, on the border with Norway, a nature experience out of the ordinary awaits. Follow scenic mountain trails that stretch out into a wilderness right outside the door. See reindeer roam freely and experience Sámi culture up close.

STF Grövelsjön Mountain Station sits 816 metres above sea level and is an excellent base for hiking and cross-country skiing. The area also offers quota-regulated fly fishing in the Storån river – one of Dalarna's most sought-after fishing waters.
