Grotfallet is located 360 meters above sea level, which makes it one of places with most snow south of the river Dalälven during the winter. The 3 km track is illuminated during. Other tracks available during daytime are 2,4 km, 5 km, 7,5 km and 10 km.
When snow access is good, you can find connections to other track-systems. These lead to Ljungåsen and Fjällbergets downhill ski slopes.
