A magical Winter awaits!
 
In the magical forests outside Mora, among high mountains, lakes and waterfalls are Tomteland’s fabulous worlds such as Trollrike, Drakland, Skogstomtebyn, Sagotorget, Huldrans glänta, Tomtens by, Sagotorget with Sagoslottet, Sagofén’s pavilion and Häxans hus and other magical places visited in the fairy tales. Here you will meet life’s living dragons, trolls, elves and other exciting fairy tale characters ….
In our 18 hectare theater park, almost all experiences take place outdoors around our magical forests.
 
 
Santa
This is Santa or as he is also called, Santa Claus – and he is the only one of his kind. He is also the one that all other elves in the whole world can turn to with all kinds of problems and clever questions. He is the wisest of all the elves so quite naturally he is the companion of all the elves. Tomten is Tomteland’s self-described host and leader. Elfland is his home and country. He knows everything about everything and everyone who lives here. He is magical and practices good magic.
 
This is Mrs. Santa
Mrs Santa is a good and wise old woman who always has a twinkle in her eye. You can often hear her clucking laugh as she sits with knitting in her hands in her favorite armchair. She has a great interest in crafts and thinks it is important to keep old craft traditions alive. She is also phenomenal at cooking and her juices and jams are widely known – not to mention what a bun party it is among the gnomes when there is freshly baked bread! In other words: a real grandmother of all the children. Has been married to Santa since 2010. They met on the top of Gesundaberget over 300 years ago. Santa was out walking in the forest when he suddenly heard an “ATJOOO!” from inside some raspberry bushes. Curious, he looked to see what it was that sounded. There stood Santa Claus with a basket full of raspberries and snowdrops. “Yes, it tickled my nose so much that I was allowed to sneeze,” Santa Claus usually tells with a laugh. “Repeatedly!” “Lucky,” Santa usually says. “Otherwise I might have just passed by and we would never have met.” When Santa isn’t at Santaland, she’s basking over the old house at the North Pole, where there’s still a lot of Christmas gift-making to do. She is also good at reading maps and is the one who lays out the routes for Santa’s travels at Christmas.
 
King Bore & the winter queen
King Bore rules his kingdom in the north with a firm and friendly hand. He and Santa have a good and close relationship. That’s why the King and Queen of Winter always come to Tomteland every winter and bring the snow and cold with them. With them they have the winter olket, which consists of winter fairies and elves but also snowmen and snow monsters. The Winter Queen and King Bore’s task is to protect the climate and can control the weather and wind if necessary – but always in interaction with mother earth….

For information: When booking for 4 people in a double room, we recommend that a child sleeps in bed with the parents. Two extra beds can be accommodated but it will be crowded.
