Welcome to a unique active experience on historic ground! This is one on Sweden's biggest bike races that gives you the opportunity to race through the vast wilderness, rolling mountains, genuine villages and finally arrive to the traditional folk festivities at the finish line.

Vasaloppet is an iconic experience that combines nature, culture, and local flavors in a historic journey through Dalarna. Give your guests the opportunity to take on the legendary 90 km route from Sälen to Mora – either on skis in winter or by bike during the popular Cykelvasan in summer. Beyond the race itself, a vibrant festival awaits, where guests can soak in the magical atmosphere, cheer on the participants, and enjoy traditional blueberry soup – a memorable destination for active travellers and nature lovers! Along the way, the guest will pass authentic mountain farms where volunteers have prepared blueberry soup, buns, and other energy boosts. And last but not least, the guest will get to experience the incredible feeling of crossing the iconic finish line in Mora, receiving your well-earned medal, and celebrating your achievement! The cycling races in the Vasaloppet Arena attract thousands of elite cyclists, recreational riders, friends, colleagues, and families every year. With distances ranging from 32 to 96 km, there’s something for everyone – regardless of age or experience! No matter which distance you choose, the course will be relatively easy to ride. Most of the route takes you along forest roads or wide trails, with no difficult technical obstacles or extreme elevation gains. Most participants use a mountain bike with suspension, but gravel bikes, city hybrids, or other types of bicycles are also common choices. Excellent opportunities for high-quality accommodation and dining are available near both the start and finish areas. It's highly recommend combining one of these races with Dalarna’s other unique experiences. A total of 96 km of scenic forest roads, wooden bridges over marshlands, bright pine forests, summer pastures, and meadows before reaching the legendary finish line in Mora. Cykelvasan Öppet Spår – Leisure, 96 km August 8, 2025 | SEK 1,510 (Ages 12-16: SEK 305) Cycle the full Vasaloppet course at your own pace—compete only against yourself! Enjoy 96 km of breathtaking nature while riding in the footsteps of history. Cykelvasan 45 – Leisure, 45 km August 8, 2025 | SEK 860 (Ages 12-16: SEK 305) Starting in Oxberg, this route takes you through rolling hills, around the picturesque Oxberg lake, past charming summer pastures, and through a mix of deciduous and coniferous forests before joining the classic Vasaloppet Arena. Cykelvasan 30 – Leisure, 32 km August 8, 2025 | SEK 535 (Ages 8-16: SEK 305) A perfect race for the whole family! Everyone can cycle Vasaloppet—bring your loved ones and enjoy a scenic ride on forest roads from Oxberg through the Vasaloppet checkpoints of Hökberg and Eldris, finishing in Mora.
