Vansbro night swimming

Magical swimming in the summer night with marshals and fires along the course. Everyone swims with an illuminated safety buoy. No timing but focus entirely on the experience.

In Vansbro Nattsim/Vansbro night swimming, the focus is on the experience, therefore there is no competition and no timing. The stretch of 1000 meters in the Västerdalälven river is swum with a safety buoy with lighting. Along the course there are 800 meters of piers which on summer nights are decorated with leaders and marshals. If the weather is clear, the full moon is also part of the swim. At the finish line, there is a hot bath in the pool, hot showers and food in the restaurant tent, which is open to both swimmers and visitors until 00.30 am.
