Mining worker’s housing area built after English model. Part of Ecomuseum Bergslagen.
Description
One of the best preserved estates of worker’s cottages from the early 1900’s. Within the Stora Hagen area there are twenty-two plastered four-family dwellings lining the village street. Address number 22 is a museum run by the local history society. On the ground floor there is a memorial room to the memory of Bernhard Eriksson, the mines who advanced to be an MP and a minister.
