Säters Parish Museum "Åsgårdarna"

This open- air museum includes twenty- three buildings, the oldest from the 16th Century.

Description

The museum was inaugurated in 1932 and the buildings where moved to the museum from different parts of the parish. They represents a cross- section of the many different occupations which were of importance in the area. It includes a pottery, a cahpel, a mint master´s house, a Carpenters cottage and many more.

The café is open on the weekends during the summer month.
