The trail is named after Kennet Andersson, the enthusiast who left his mark on the trails around Grycksbo through his enormous commitment and knowledge of forest and land.
Length: 23 km Category: Red Type of bike: MTB Substrate: Path and gravel road
Description: Introduction of built paths through the village, before a stretch of asphalt and gravel road past the paper mill, the homestead and the manor. Past Kalle's mines, there is a path before a gravel road section, where Korta Kennet turns off. Now it's time for the trail's toughest climb, which goes on paths in two stages, before you whizz downhill past Strömbostugan, Fredagsbo and Thursdaysbo (watch out for wild boars) on flowy paths. A longer section of gravel road takes you up to Koxåsberget and then on cozy paths past Bergmyran, "Tuben", Knipån and Floberg's mines to Skärbacken. The easy 3km that now follows up to Felbo are usually welcome to manage the last 5km which mostly goes on technically demanding paths, of which the last 2km is right on the edge of Lake Tansen.
Visit Dalarna is not responsible for the trail or its maintenance. Keep in mind that the trails are affected by the season and weather, so feel free to check the conditions before you head out on the bike ride.
