Lurån

Cultural history combined with a nice walk that's what you get when walking along Lurån, between the two lakes Rogsjön and Utgrycken. There you will see what enterprise, and inventiveness can do to help not only transportation but also as sources of energy to be able to run several types of business.

You will find remainsfrom 1600s and forward. There were mills, sawmills and a mine. An absolute condition for this was the stream "Lurån" Nowadays there are not many of those constructions left, but what remains is worth paying a visit to. This walk will take you about two hours.
