The forest on Ändlösberg is situated at an altitude of 430 meters above sea level. Around the mountain peaks and in the northern part of the area, there is an elevation forest. In this area, slender and short spruce and pine trees grow, with a significant presence of old pine trees.
On the south and southeast slopes of the mountain, a fertile spruce forest thrives, and there is plenty of deadwood on the ground. There are traces of forestry activities from the 1960s. The elevation forest around the mountain peaks provides a favorable climate for hanging lichens. Capercaille is common in the area. Many of the old trees have nesting holes suitable for sparrows, owls, and small birds in the forest.
