Description: Starting point is at the end of the road Östra Rönnäs Kvarnvägen.
Hike between the village Rönnäs and the lake Skvin Histjärn/Nydammen. The trail goes through different forest environments. In the years between 16th and 18th century there used to be a cabin in the area where they melted ore from the mines near Hisvåla. Besides the remnants from the cabin there are also remnants of limestone mining. There is a limestone quarry among other things. Limestone mining ended here around 1930.
Directions
From Leksand: Follow the road Sågmyravägen towards Falun. When you reach the village Romma turn right onto the road Romma Rönnäsvägen. When you get to Rönnäs, turn left onto the road Östra Rönnäs Kvarnvägen and continue to the starting point
