Welcome to the Vasaloppet Arena

The Vasaloppet starting field – a legendary place in Sälen! On this starting field many thousands of skiers have stood, eagerly awaiting the start of the Vasaloppet 90 km ski race. For the last few years it has also become the starting point for the largest MTB race in Sweden, the Cykelvasa. From here you can either follow the Cykelvasa trail towards Mora or try the more demanding XC trails at Tjärnheden sports ground.

Service

There are service points with WC, compressed air, water and hosing facilities at the Vasalopp start in Berga, and at Tjärnhedens IP sports field.
