Welcome to Sälen

The Sälen mountains is Sweden's largest ski area, with six resorts – Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen, Hundfjället, Kläppen and Stöten – offering a combined 186 slopes and around 250 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails. You can also try dog sledding and snowmobile safaris. The Experium experience world in Lindvallen draws visitors with adventure pools, indoor surfing and spa.

In summer, the easily-accessible mountain world offers mountain biking, hiking, fishing and packrafting in the beautiful surroundings. Berga village in Sälen is also the starting point of one of the world's most famous sporting events – the Vasaloppet ski race.
