Silverringen - Bispbergs gruva
At Bispberg's mine you can see one of Sweden's best-preserved iron mining environments. Mining was already going on in the area during the Middle Ages, but it was not until Gustav Vasa became king that the industry increased in importance. Above ground sits the magnificent Vasalaven from 1889.
Also take the opportunity to hike up on Bipbergs klack where the whole area can be viewed in bird's eye view. The reward is a wonderful view, the mountain rises 315 m above sea level and from here you can see, for example, the ski jumps in Falun and the mining lavas in Garpenberg. In the area there are several hiking and biking trails.
