Midsummer celebrations in Idre

Idre Hembygdsgård arranges a traditional Midsummer celebration in Idre village. Dancing around the pole, fish pond, sale of traditional coffee.

Midsummer celebration Idre 2026: Thursday 18/6 From 12.00 noon, the celebration is prepared by dressing the pole and decorating the homestead, picking flowers and feel free to help. Coffee is served. Friday 29/6 13.30 Midsummer celebration with dancing around the midsummer pole to the tunes of local fiddlers. Fish pond, lotteries, visits from the Rescue Service, the Ambulance, the Police and Customs. Serving of midsummer pastry, sausage with bread, Idre's local delicacy Jônn bread and much more.
