Carl Larsson's etched cabin Tuppen

The etched cottage was given the Bellman-inspired name Mutter på Tuppen and is adorned with a weather vane with an old woman on top of a rooster. Carl Larsson died in this cottage on January 22, 1919. Since the 1940s, the etching cottage has been a museum and is owned by the municipality of Falun.

During the summer, pre-booked groups can visit the etching cottage via the association Östanfors District Association or by contacting Falu municipality. The Etching Cottage is also used every year at an art exhibition arranged by the district association and at smaller cultural events.
