A trail that offers magnificent views of Städjan and the Nipfjället Nature Reserve from the top of Fjätervålen, 1002 m.a.s.l.
Start and End Point: The trail starts and ends at the base station of the anchor lift. Length: Circular loop of 6 km. Elevation Gain: 317 m Trail Markings: A map is available at the starting point, and the trail is marked with red paint on stones. Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Difficulty Level: Moderate, the trail ascends diagonally up the ski slopes to the top and then continues onto the mountain. Uneven terrain; sturdy shoes/boots are recommended.
Environment: The trail initially ascends diagonally up the ski slope. The beautiful spruce forest is rich in hanging lichens and is an attractive environment for the Siberian Jay. Above the treeline, you can see the Vedung Mountains, and from the summit, you have far-reaching views into Norway. From the summit, the trail heads southward before following paths back down through the ski area.
