A pleasant and easy-to-walk stage. You walk between the two towns of Smedjebacken and Ludvika, where the trail passes along streets among the houses. The rest of the journey follows gravel roads through beautiful nature. It works just as well to bike as to walk.
Section Stage 7 Norrbärke - Ludvika
Length 20.5 km Starting Point Norrbärke Church Endpoint: Ludvika Church Difficulty Level Green. Easy hiking trail through forest and countryside, also suitable for cycling. Duration: 5 hours 8 minutes Trail Description The trail passes through the center of Smedjebacken and then follows scenic routes past the Flogberget mines. Along the trail, there are several opportunities to take breaks, set up a tent, or simply enjoy your packed meal. Facilities: A restroom with a sink is available during daytime, weekdays, at Norrbärke Church between 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Drinking water is available at the chapel (on the back side facing the center).
