The trail is named after Kennet Andersson, the driving force who left his mark on the trails around Grycksbo through his immense dedication and expertise in the forest and land. It begins on trails through the village that have been designed for MTB cycling. Then, there is a stretch of asphalt and gravel road past the paper mill, local heritage farm, and manor house before heading onto the trail past Kalles mines. Next, there's a 3 km stretch of gravel road that also takes you to the highest point of the trail near Strömbostugen (accommodation). From here, it's almost exclusively trail riding past Torsdagsbo, Felbo, the old blasting chest, and finally along the shores of Lake Tansen. The short stretches of gravel road that remain are usually welcome resting spots on the technical trails.
Augusta
Length: 3 km
Category: Green
Type of Bike: MTB, gravel.
Surface: Gravel road and forest road.
The trail is named after Augusta Munktell, also known as "the old lady," who was the mill owner from 1861 to 1887. The trail is not only suitable for MTB but also for gravel bikes and runs exclusively on gravel and forest roads. It begins through Nisserska Park, past the local heritage farm, and onto Old Lady's Road, then passes through places like Widow's Village in Alvik, the fishing lakes at Stensjöområdet, a beautiful view just before Strömbostugan (accommodation) when you're halfway through, and the old wooden bridge in Lustebo. The first half involves a lot of uphill, but then it becomes easier to ride, and the last 4 km are on the old railroad track.
