Fishing in the Husby-Hedemora fishing area

Dalälven and the numerous lakes surrounding it, such as Amungen, are premier destinations for fishing enthusiasts, renowned especially for their excellent zander. This area includes significant bodies of water like Flinesjön, Hovran, and the urban lakes of Hedemora, among others. These rivers and lakes provide exceptional pike and zander fishing opportunities.

For fishing, carrying a valid fishing license that must be presented upon request to the fishing supervisor is required. Fishing licenses can be purchased online only. Please refer to the fishing association's website for fishing regulations.
