Take a long walk in the mountains. This tour is suitable for those who want to go on a really long day trip or spend the night on the mountain.
Start and end location: Start at naturum Fulufjället, take the direct route to Rörsjöarna, pass Harrsjöarna, Bergådalsstugan and Särnmanstugan, and finally come back to Rörsjöarna and Naturum. Suitable for an overnight stay, possibly at Rörsjöarna.
Length: 24 km. Add 3 km if you want to see teh waterfall Njupeskär.
Trail markings: Be sure to follow the path with orange markings on the stones. Do not follow the red winter trail crossings.
Duration: 1-2 days.
Difficulty: relatively easy to hike. Depending on the season and weather, it can be wet on some stretches. In places, the trail is also very rocky.
Description: Head towards Njupeskär, drop off your backpack at Njupeskärstugan and go down and take a closer look at the waterfall. Back at the cabin, you follow the trail towards Old Tjikko and then go around little Rösjön and on towards Harrsjön and Bergådalen. From Bergådalen you then go towards Särnmanstugan, Rösjön and back to the nature center.
Steep climb from Njupeskärsstugan up the mountain and from Rösjön the last bit down to the nature center.
Environment: During your hike, you will pass a number of cabins where you can go in and rest, make a fire and use the outhouse that is there.
Facilities: There is plenty of water on the mountain, but remember to fill your water bottle in the streams, as it may be an hour or so until the next spring.
Parking:All parking at the entrances to naturum Fulufjället is free, but you can choose to pay a voluntary parking fee by going to the visitor centre and paying by card or cash.
Electric car chargers do not exist.
