Cross country skiing in Avesta

Around the Avesta there are ski trails both for training enthusiasts and those who want to experience nature around the track. There are both exercise trails, electric light tracks and artificial snow tracks.

Adjacent to the Åsbobacken, just next to the world-renowned Dalecarlian horse in Avesta, there are two ski trails. A three-kilometer long loop of artificial snow with lighting and a five-kilometer long trail on natural snow for both classical style and skate. Even at the skislope in Fornby Klint there are ski trails and thermal huts.
