Vintjärnsspåren

Vintjärn is an exceptionally snow-reliable area, and the ski tracks wind through moderately hilly, twisting forest paths. These tracks feature shortcuts, allowing you to customize the length of your skiing adventure. Explore the freedom to choose your own path and enjoy the flexibility of the terrain.

Directions / Starting point The trail can be found when travelling through Vintjärn (from Faluhållet), about 100m after the 90 sign turn right down the road, after about 200 m the trail begins. Description: Green track: Length: 1 km Marking: green Description: Trail in light forest terrain and on marsh for the youngest. Blue trail: Length: 9 km Marking: Blue marking Description: Runs along the roads. Various loops, 9 km. Red trail Length: 14 km Marking: red Description: Runs in the terrain, not on roads. Much on marshes. Moderate hills. Possibility to shortcut to the blue track after 3 and 6 km. The trails are managed by Svärdsjö ski and orienteering club. Visit Dalarna is not responsible for the trail or its maintenance. Remember that the trails are affected by weather and wind, so please check the conditions and trail status before you start your skiing trip.
