Renbiten farm shop and café

A traditional Sami shop in Idre, the southernmost village of Swedish Sapmì. The shop sells exclusive Sami arts and crafts, great gifts, home-produced reindeer meat and much more. The most important ingredients in Sami cooking are reindeer, moose, mushrooms and berries, all of which you can find in the shop, mostly home produce. Enjoy a cup of Sami coffee in the café, with a piece of dried reindeer meat in the cup, and a host of other delicacies. A simple Sami lunch is served daily, often reindeer soup with home-made bread.

The Andersson family, one of four Sami families in Idre Sameby, run the Renbiten enterprise, combining reindeer tending with their products, shop and café - and offering a range of Sami experiences and guided tours with their tame reindeer.
