Tvärstupet nature reserve

Tvärstupet became a nature reserve as early as 1947. The reserve has a varied character with both forest, the cliff itself, a marsh and a pond called Tvärstupstjärn.

Tvärstupet is a southern slope, which means that both the night and day temperatures are higher here than in the surroundings, which means a lot for Tvärstupet's vegetation. The reserve is located 20 km south of Borlänge. 5 km south of Halvarsgårdarna
