The farm is perfectly suited for conferences in Dalarna or for one or two families, who want to be on their own in the middle of the wilderness. The farm is equipped for winter weather and is bookable all year long. What our guests appreciate most is the silence, the solitude and the wonderful stars. A whole farm to rent – in the middle of the wilderness. Imagine that for a few days or weeks live in a brand new classic farm, built in southern Dalarna, in the forest at an own lake. You have no other neighbors than moose, deer, hares and lots of other animals. There is fresh air, lots of outdoor activities and a lot of time to relax. You can hike, fish, hunt, pick berries, and go biking and much more. Dalagård is a farm where the main buildings are new, but the outhouses are more than 200 years old. The farm has eight double rooms and one farm hand’s house with eight beds.

Dalagård is built to be rented by either one or two families –or as a conference center. Our concept is that you rent the entire facility yourself for your family or your business.
Equipment. The farm is fully equipped with all what you can find in a normal home, plus a little more for leisure activities: boat, bicycles, berry pickers and fishing equipment. Broadband is available. Television with film channels and DVD is available in the main house. Library with a lot of readable books is available both in the main house and the cabins. In the main house, as well as in the conference room, there are open fireplaces. The fireplace in the main house has a wood-fired oven suitable for bread and pizza.
