1. Murboannas, Borlänge
Murboannas is widely known for its cheese. In the farm shop Murboden, you will find their range of cheeses made in their own dairy. Hard and soft, mild or flavorful – there is something for everyone here. Perfect for summer barbecue evenings is the salty and creamy grilling cheese. If you are looking for something sweet with your coffee or as a dessert, their cheesecake is recommended together with jam and cream. The shop also has a carefully selected assortment of locally produced goodies such as marmalades, oils, coffee and tea.
At Murboannas you can easily stay for a while. Have a coffee or lunch in the restaurant where the cheese of course has a given place and take the opportunity to take a walk along the 2 kilometer marked walking trail that starts from the dairy.

2. Skedvi Bröd, Stora Skedvi
Visiting Skedvi Bröd is not just a visit to a farm shop or market hall, here a whole food destination awaits. In the summer, you are greeted by life and movement already in the courtyard. Decorated containers frame the place and are filled with interior details, crafts and other exciting elements. There is also the greenhouse, which both delivers vegetables to the restaurant at Skedvi Bröd and has sales for you as a visitor.
Inside the old factory premises, you are greeted by the well-stocked market hall. The manual counter offers fresh meats, tasty hams, sausages, cheeses and delicacies prepared in the restaurant. Pork and beef, potatoes, eggs and milk are supplied from local farmers and producers. But it doesn't end there. All sorts of goodies are on the shelves along with the factory sale of the crispbread that is baked on site in the bakery.

3. Kanel & Kummin, Stora Skedvi
As you pass through the village of Yttersätra in Stora Skedvi, keep an eye out for the sign by the roadside that invites you to the charming wood-fired bakery, Kanel & Kummin. Nestled in the courtyard, the bakery and its cozy little shop welcome you inside — and during the summer months, garden tables are set out, offering the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee and a freshly baked bun.
The bakery is run by Maria and James, a couple with a deep love for bread and craftsmanship. They offer delicious sourdough loaves, buns, and cookies — all baked from scratch without additives or preservatives. Here, no ordinary ovens are used; instead, classic wood-fired ovens are heated with logs to just the right temperature before baking begins. The result is genuine and flavorful in every bite.

4. Rältagården, Djura
Just south of Leksand, surrounded by the rolling meadows, lies Rältagården. Here, farming is carried out with freely grazing cows and organically cultivated land. In the farm shop you will find a wide selection of sausages and charcuterie products from the farm's own charcuterie. In addition to their own products, there is also a well-selected range from local producers in the area.
Take the opportunity to visit Rältagården when Gårdskrogen is open. A buffet will be served with homemade dishes, local delicacies and ingredients from the company's own charcuterie.
