Fågelboet

Fågelboet serves lighter dishes during the day such as goulash soup, delightful lunch sandwiches, grilled toast, but above all, both traditional and unconventional waffles. Everything from classic waffles with cloudberry jam to luxury waffles with leek, crème fraîche, shrimp, and Russian caviar. In the evening, they set the table for a fondue night.

Fågelboet can be found at Sälfjällstorget, the heart of Sälen. One of Sälen's oldest houses, built in the 1600s. Start your evening with, for example, a chanterelle soup and then choose which meat you prefer to dip in the pot: tenderloin, reindeer fillet, or moose fillet. Accompany it with a steaming hot potato gratin and three different sauces. The wine list is well-curated. Vanilla ice cream with warm cloudberries always makes a great dessert. End the evening with coffee and cognac by the fireplace.
