Åkersön is on the other side of the river from the center of Leksand. The graveled trail is adapted for strollers, wheelchairs and for walking with or without good eyesight. The trail runs in flat terrain and in addition to nature you can also experience art.

Starting point: The trail starts under the Leksand bridge or just before Leksand Folkhögskola.
Description: There are several benches to sit and rest on as well as to enjoy nature or some of the exciting works of art. There is also a black-and-white ramp to help people with visual impairments.

Directions
Go from Leksand center across the bridge and turn right towards Leksand Folkhögskola and park next to the lake Siljan or turn left and park under the bridge at the diving club's premises. The trail starts under the Leksand bridge or just before Leksand Folkhögskola.
