Hundfjället trail 12 km

Ordinary hiking trail, partly through nice old forest. Steep climb up Hundfjället with fantastic views in all directions.

Start and end location: Tandådalstjärn, Sälen mountains. See directions. Length: 12 km, loop trail. Trail marking: The trail is marked with red crosses. The markings end at the top of the ski resort. Choose a suitable descent back down to Hundfjällets hotel. Duration: Approximately 3 - 4 hours. Difficulty level: Challenging, with a steep climb up to Hundfjället. Environment: Regular hiking trail, partly through beautiful old-growth forest. From Skogsäterstugan, a relatively steep climb up to Hundfjället with fantastic views in all directions.
