Murboannas is a must-visit for cheese lovers in Dalarna. In their farm shop, Murboden, you’ll find a wide selection of cheeses produced in their own dairy – from mild and creamy to rich and full-bodied varieties. For summer barbecues, their popular grilling cheese is a great choice, while the traditional Swedish cheesecake (“ostkaka”) is perfect as a dessert, served with jam and whipped cream.
The shop also offers a carefully curated range of local products such as marmalades, oils, coffee, and tea – ideal if you want to take a taste of Dalarna home with you. Make time to stay a while. Enjoy a fika or meal in the on-site restaurant, where cheese naturally takes center stage.
