Saxdalen Saxbergsleden 8 km

One of the slightly more challenging hiking trails in Saxdalen. The trail follows the outskirts of the village southwards and after one kilometer begins the climb towards the top of Saxberget.

Start and End Location: Gamla Gruvvägen 5. Length: 8 km, loop trail. Trail Marking: Red marking. Difficulty Level: Medium difficulty trail, quite steep uphill and downhill. Elevation difference of 200 meters. Description: The trail mostly follows old paths. There are two resting places at the top of Saxberget. From the highest point on the trail, you can see many of the municipality's lakes and villages. Parking and an information board with a map are available next to Lake Saxen, initially follow the signage towards the chapel to the starting point. There is also parking at the starting point at the address Gamla Gruvvägen 5. Map: A map of the hiking trails is available at the parking area located between County Road 604 and Lake Saxen.
