Floda hemslöjd

This handicraft shop is located in central Dala-Floda. Here you can learn about the typical embroidery from Dala-Floda, Påsöm and you can also see the beautiful Floda costume that is considered one of the most beautiful folk costumes in Sweden.

The association's most important function is to preserve tradition, culture and craftsmanship from the area. Påsöm (wool embroidery) is available for purchase in the shop, both ready-made items and material kits. Courses in needlework are also organized here. Here you can see the beautiful Flodadräkt, which is considered one of Sweden's most beautiful parish costumes. Hemslöjden has got a costume stall where it sells used parts for the Floda costume. The clothes shed is next to the hemslöjd.
