Description

The timber building where the farmhouse Brända Bröd user tells a unique story. The stately house with tall logs was originally in Storhag. The Gröning family assembled the house and then built it back home at the farm. After 5 years of hard work, it was clear; with kitchen, wood-burning oven and cafe. Here in the village of Solvarbo, just outside of Säter, Elisabet Gröning wants to create a calm and relaxing environment.

This part of the village is called "Brända" hence the name Brända Bröd. Café guests are greeted by a homely atmosphere with old-fashioned coffee bread in the form of cookies, buns, and boxes. If you're hungry, there are sandwiches on homemade bread with locally produced toppings like Solvarboskinka or Gustafskorv.

The cafe also sells packs of cakes to buy at home, as well as hard bread from the wood-burning oven.
Seats are available indoors and outdoors on the courtyard or under the roof of the carport.
