In Säfsen's holiday village there are red log cabins that all have activities, a restaurant and adventures just around the corner. The apartments, which are directly adjacent to the ski area, have a convenient ski-in/ski-out location with proximity to all winter activities.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hiker, Säfsen has a hiking trail that suits you. In southern Dalarna, just three hours from Stockholm, you get to experience mountain hiking light with fantastic nature. There are wind shelters along the trail, why not try out the wilderness life properly and spend the night out in nature? The hiking trails start in the heart of Säfsen Resort, at Hyttan or at Fredriksbergs Hembygdsgård, which you will find about 2 km from Säfsen.
Cycling
Cycle over vast fields and rolling mountains or take the first roll in our gentle technology course found in the Cycling Arena. Säfsen offers cycling experiences for the whole family. All the equipment you need for eventful days in nature is available for rent on site in the Bicycle Center Björnen. Rent a mountain bike, bicycle trailer or bicycle saddle so that the kid can also keep up.
Fishing
In Säfsen there are no less than 175 lakes and watercourses for fishing. Some are better suited for families with a fishing rod from a jetty or boat, others are suitable for the fly fishing expert. Fishing licenses can be purchased online or at the Wilderness Centre Lynx. Here you can also rent or buy all the equipment you need for a day out in nature.
